30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 30

The end has finally appeared, not only is this the end to the challenge..

It is also the end of June, WOW!

Does anyone else feel like this month has gone super fast?!

Aren't we like half way to Christmas?

Too early to mention it?

 

I have really enjoyed taking part in this challenge.

The main reason I started blogging was for something to focus on & to give me a purpose. This challenge has without a doubt been something to focus on. I haven't really posted anything much in-between but I shall get straight back to that soon.

 

My final photo is....

When we visited a garden centre the other day I saw this adorable note book & couldn't resist buying it. It has already come of some use. Since I have started driving lessons, I have decided I'm going to write down in this book what I have learnt in the lesson. So I always have it to fall back on as a reminder & helper.

30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 29

I'm quite sad this challenge is coming to an end to be honest.

I've really enjoyed taking part day by day, photo by photo.

I really hope Louise decides to create a new challenge for us all to take part in.

 

Today's snap is a pretty important & a biggie for me.

Some people will read this & be like big woop?

But to me it was an achievement....

 

Today I had my very first driving lesson.

My parents have taken me out to very quiet parts to teach me a little bit. But this morning at 9.30, I went on officially my very first driving lesson. I was a little bit unsure what I would be like once I started going. I was thinking "oh, I hope I don't feel like I have to turn straight back home", luckily I managed the whole lesson & a teeny bit more.

 I enjoyed it so much that I have booked another lesson for Tuesday,

 woooweeee...go steady! 

Fingers crossed I will keep at it & hopefully continue to enjoy it.

I've just blocked out my instructors ADI number, was a little unsure whether that should be posted online. But as you can tell, I have booked another lesson. Yipeeeee!

30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 28

So my photo for today was actually going to be my outfit for tonight....
I was meant to be going to see Michael Buble live, but since tomorrow I have my very first driving lesson I thought it would be best to stay home, have an early night & relax. To most people they would be thinking what?! Why would you miss out on a concert?!
Well if you suffer from anxiety & panic attacks, you will know full well why.
But if you don't or haven't done then to be honest you probably won't understand...nevermind.
 

So my photo for today is....

I'm going to jump in the shower & then don't plan on moving very far after that.
I'm just going to relax, paint my nails & read my book.

Do you have any tips or advice on learning to drive?

30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 27

It is safe to say now that this challenge is certainly coming to a fast end.

Admittedly it has made this month more enjoyable,

 just thinking about what to snap & then doing a little post about it.

 

So here is my photo for today.... 

 

This afternoon my mum's friend took me & my mum out to a garden centre for the afternoon, it was a lovely time & the weather stayed fine until the car journey home. This photo as you can tell is a sign for the toilet but I just thought it was so funny....

oh the little things make me giggle!

They had funny ones for all of the toilets but I only used this one, as you can tell.

30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 26

WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!

Today is a very, very, very, very happy snap!

Basically an arena just under 45 minutes away from me have Michael Buble rehearsing there & since the rehearsals are going so well Michael has decided to perform a show for the arena. Before heading off to do 10 nights at London's 02, 5 nights at The 02 in Dublin & then an extended tour in North America.

All the profits are going to be split between two local charities, which I think is fantastic.

Can this man get anymore perfect?

 

 I don't usually go to concerts, due to anxiety. But the tickets went on sale this morning for Friday night & I thought you know what I'm just going to feel the anxiety/fear & do it anyway! How often do you get to go see Michael Buble live in concert?

So Friday I will probably be a wreck but I'm going to go, because I can!

 

I don't usually scream or get excited when it's music related but this morning I was screaming around the house when we got our tickets. I was so excited that I actually felt sick with excitement, which makes a lovely change from feeling sick with worry & anxiety. The concert is now sold out. So that sounds positive.
 

I think I have gone crazy or someone has switched my brain, who knows?!
Exciting times ahead & watch this space for some lovely jubbly Buble photos.

Ribbet, ribbet..

This afternoon me & my mum have been out in our garden.

 I've been doing abit of gardening & came across this little fella.

So thought I would snap him & use him as todays photo.

Surprisingly when we find a frog I'm completely fine with it,

but if we see a spider I'm not too keen.

Really you'd think it would be the other way round.

Skype Party

Today is my lovely friend Ally's birthday, 21 again...& again & again & again!

Happy Birthday Ally! Hope your having a super duper day & I shall speak to you soon!

 

So as you may of seen from last nights post, me & Ally had a Skype party.

 I don't usual do the whole Skype speaking conversation thing, yes I do the webcam but I'm usually pretty shy when it comes to the talking. So I just sit & type..

 Even though in person I'm not really that quiet to be honest,

 not sure what that's all about.

 But last night I pushed myself out of my comfort zone a little & not only spoke..

We ended up doing karaoke so I ended up singing too!

Oh what a laugh we had..

We did the Skype party because we live a fair few miles apart.

 

At the end of last week I sent her a parcel in the post full of birthday goodies,

so they would be there in time for the party of course.

I mean what kind of party doesn't have presents?

We even played a game, that was very short lived but hey we had a go.

We both took a few pictures so I shall share them with you..

The photos weren't intended to be just present based, but unfortunately quality wise..

that is the way the cookie has crumbled today.

WOW, only 6 days left until this challenge is over..

I still hope to be discovering new blogs & communicating with the lovely bloggers.

Right on to the photo for today....

Since I have recently been spending so much time at home with my mum, that means that we can get a various amount of little jobs done around the house. Like putting stuff up in the loft that we don't need at the minute. But obviously when you go up into a loft it's just full of stuff you completely forgot about & if your like me, you have to have a little look around..

 

So when I was up there today I discovered this box full of all different kinds of beads.

It would of been so rude to just leave them up there unused.

I can't wait to start creating pretty things with them.

Sunday is usually a pretty chilled out day for me, but tonight I have a party to attend..

Okay, yes it is on Skype but it's the best option when you can't be with someone.

It's just like your in the same room together. 

 

Tomorrow is my good friend Ally's birthday, so tonight it's party time.

We are actually speaking on Skype now & are having our party.

While I blog this little post.

So here is the photo for today..

I was a little late to the party, yes it is possible to be late to a party online in your own home.

But the party is going to continue with giggles, games, music, munchies & drinks.

I'm really enjoying being part of this challenge & will be quite sad when it comes to an end.

But my blogging days won't be coming to an end..hoorayyy!

So I decided to treat myself to a new desk, my own little place for me to blog away. Here it is...

I have spent most of today moving my room around to fit it in, building it & then putting things away into their new homes. My old desk was classed as a work station but in my case it had just become a place to pile everything on. But this won't be the case with this desk, it will be staying nice & clear.

Today I had planned to do so many jobs around the house,

 unfortunately that went out the window.

I woke up feeling funny & have spent the majority of the day just laid on my bed curled under my throw, since that is the only way it eases the feelings. I thought of little jobs I could do whilst laying down. So that is a little explanation behind todays photo..I decided to plan some upcoming blog posts. I guess today has been slightly productive. I'm now going to check out some of the other guys taking part in the challenge.

30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 20

Today I woke up to the sound of rain & thought oh brilliant..so this explains my photo for today.

 I quite enjoy doing the fishtail topknot, it is so easy to create & stays in place nicely all day. 

Until I tried the fishtail plait I was thinking oh my, that looks super hard but to be honest it's pretty easy. I can't actually remember which YouTube video I used to learn how to do the fishtail plait but I'm sure if you just Google or YouTube search you will be able to find many different tutorials.

30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 19

My photo for today is....

For those of you who don't know me, I absolutely love The Mend!

Yes, I'm a family mender & I'm proud of it! Woohoo!

If you don't know who The Mend are, where have you been hiding? Under a rock?

If you don't watch talent shows then you probably won't know who they are.

The Mend are a four piece band (Kris, Craig, Jay & Dean) from Manchester.

They auditioned for The X Factor & apparently if you blinked you missed them on the screen.

(I missed them!) But then last year they appeared on our screens on Britain's Got Talent. As soon as they appeared I seriously felt a connection with them & well the rest is history basically. I'm still supporting them & can't wait to go see them live.

They made it through their first audition, then to the live semi finals but they didn't make it any further. Until the show decided last year to create a wildcard act.

Which then shot The Mend straight into the live final.

Unfortunately the boys didn't win the competition & still aren't getting the recognition they deserve. But since the competition they have supported Little Mix on tour & are now currently doing their own tour. One proud family mender right here.

Today feels like it has flown by.

After a pretty busy day I decided to get my craft on..oooh yeah!

So out came the craft mat (yes, I have a craft mat..just incase I get glue on the table..I think mum forgets I'm not 5 anymore.) Last week me & my mum went through our calendar & decided to create a list of cards to make for different events.

30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 15

I know it's a late one today but better late than never.

My photo for the day is...

This evening me, my mum, dad & grandma all headed off to a family bbq for my great Uncle's birthday. The party was down by the river, as their garden leads onto the river. It is so beautiful. This picture has no filter on what so ever & was taken on my phone.

 Since I charged my camera battery but completely forgot to put it back in,ooopps!

I spent most of the evening sat on the steps that led to the river,

it was just so beautiful & peaceful.

Anyway we had a lovely bbq in the garden & it was so lovely to see family we don't see very often. There was also some random people I hadn't met before but everyone was lovely.

So a good time all round I would say!

Letters through your door..

I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets excited when the post arrives.

Unless it's boring post, then the excitement soon passes.

Anyway last week I received a lovely card from my good friend Ally.

So I thought I'd just write a little bit about Ally. Ally has guest blogged for me before actually, find her post here. It was Ally who actually came up with the suggestion of guest blogging, so I won't take the credit. She asked me one day if she could do a guest blog post & the rest is history. So Ally is really one of the nicest people I know & I'm not just saying that. She genuinely is, she would never upset anyone on purpose. She is one of the few people who gets me & understands me. I know full well if I needed to speak to Ally I would be able to almost 24/7 & if she wasn't free straight away she'd be so disappointed with herself. It feels like I have known Ally forever, even though really it hasn't even been a year. If people could hear our conversations I think there would be slight concern because we speak about everything & anything literally. Anyway I shall leave you all with a little image of the card I received. Love you Ally! Thank you so much for being there for me recently!

Such a thing as too much nail polish?

I can honestly say I only actually wear one make up & that is nail polish, as you can probably tell. Every now & then I like to neaten them all up because over a couple of months they all go absolutely everywhere! So today I had my cleaning head on & thought I would organise my room, hence me posting this image.

Chalk drawing fun ♥

What a great way to entertain kids with a packet of chalk & a blank piece of concrete.

Me, Ned & Finlay (the boys who are like my two brothers

..aged 10 & 4) took to our street with the chalk.

At first we planned on drawing around our shadows but

the excitement of that soon past after two drawings & the sun disappearing.

 We instead just decided to draw whatever we fancied drawing in chalk.

Most of the drawings are actually mine & Lou's (the boys mum).

I took a few snaps to share..Most of the drawings are mine, but hey..

who said your too old at 21 to enjoy drawing with chalk?!

This is actually yesterdays quote but I thought what a lovely positive quote. I think this is going to stick with me for a good time. I have actually put it as my lock screen on my iPad. This afternoon I had a rummage in mum's old craft box

& discovered a bunch of funky scissors!

I love to do crafty bits & bobs to keep my mind busy.

 personalized/handmade gifts are the best..well in my opinion they are.

So now I'm going to be having a lot of fun with these getting crafty..keep your eyes peeled!

30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 5

When most people class a dog as their best friend, others will probably think they are crackers..

Yes, I admittedly used to think that.

I think though once you have bonded with a dog from a puppy age,

you automatically do completely understand.. I certainly do.

We have a dog but I feel a little connection with her,

we haven't had her since she was a puppy we have only had her a few years.

So who knows, maybe that is why.

 

But when the people on my street, which I would like to say literally are like my second family (we aren't actually related) got a puppy, my thoughts completely changed & I fell in love with their dog! He is so adorable!  Can I just say before that I didn't actually like dogs after being bit by one when I was little. So he has helped overcome my fear of dogs, win win! But once Pudding (the puppy) came into my life, everything changed..(yes, that sounds cheesy but nevermind!) We go on walks, we play fight with each other, we play together & I chat away to him like he's a real person, but obviously he isn't & doesn't talk back & probably doesn't understand a word I'm saying but that's the whole point..

It gets out whatever is going in my head & out in the open..I'm sounding really crazy now!

Anyway this morning when I was up & ready I decided to go take pudding for a walk to get some fresh air to start off the day, so he is my photo of the day.

One of my favourite things about summer is wearing my sunglasses.

I just love how everything looks so much more prettier.

This is how I have started my day today, with a cup of peach iced tea

 & a notebook to create my to do list for the day. Monday morning has showed its face & that means a fresh week, a clean start so what better way to start the week than getting all the housework done..

Since we now have so much access to the internet & other ways of communication.

With various devices such as house phones, mobiles, iPads, Xbox, laptops, allsorts.

We all admittedly probably struggle to find/make time for family & those who we live with.

Some of us won't even make the effort.

So my photo for today is exactly what my plans are for tonight.

 I have got my jim jams on, snacks are at the ready & dvd is ready to go in the player.

 Me & my mum are going to have a movie night, with no phones, laptops or iPads.

Just the two of us..a funny dvd & food, what  more could I ask for?!

30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 1

To those of you who may be reading this & thinking what is the 30 Day Snap Challenge,

I'm quite excited to see what others will be posting too!

 

So here goes..

 

 

Slightly random I know but nevermind..I shall tell you the little story behind this.

Basically I live near two boys who are like my two little brothers & the other day I suggested we could go roller skating up & down our street, very rock & roll I know!

Our street doesn't have paths & isn't very busy..It is a tiny little cul-de-sac.

But last night when I went to check for my roller skates they weren't in the garage.

Mum seems to think we got rid of them, I mean fancy a 21 year old not owning a pair of roller skates. So I knew my god mum often goes out with her husband on a Saturday so I thought I'd text her to see if she would pick a pair up for me at one of our local toys "r" us..
Cut a long story short me, my mum & my god mum were on our way to our nearest toys "r" us at just gone 9 this morning.  As I am a pretty anxious person & suffer with panic attacks, it was a pretty big deal for me. So we travelled about 30 minutes each way there & back..

I only had a few panic moments but all in all it was a pretty good morning!
